What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about STRAAT Museum's impressive collection of large-scale street art and its unique location in Amsterdam Noord. The free ferry ride to get there is also a highlight for many. While generally well-received, some visitors mention that the museum can get quite busy, especially on weekends.
"The museum was one of the best street art museums I’ve ever visited. The selection of images and art objects was exceptional. The industrial-style exhibition building perfectly matched the artwork on display. I was especially happy to see Seth's art in person. I would highly recommend a visit to anyone. We went in winter, and it was already quite cold inside the building, so I recommend dressing warmly during the colder months."

"We absolutely loved this museum! The mostly massive artworks by a wide variety of street artists were a delight to see. Some were thought provoking, some amusing and all were interesting.
The large space gives you a certain freeness to explore and make it your own personal experience.
It was a highlight of our time in Amsterdam."

"We stumbled across STRAAT after catching the free ferry. We wanted to explore more of Amsterdam and was so impressed. We were visiting Amsterdam due to my daughters love of art, so this was perfect. The district is bursting with colour and vibrancy. We spent hours exploring the museum and surrounding areas. The cafe in the museum is great and reasonably priced. They also offered gluten free brownies which was great for me.
The art itself is astounding. It ranges from the large and in your face to the small hidden pieces. There is something for everyone.
The shop was great and again, reasonably priced.
Very impressed with our visit."
