Waterlooplein flea market is the oldest flea market in Amsterdam (and probably the Netherlands). It was the first I’ve discovered when I moved to Amsterdam, when I was exploring the city by walking around. Compared to other flea markets, I think this one has old Amsterdam spirit, and less (or none) of the “hipster” vibe. Have you visited?

One of the best markets in Amsterdam to thrift clothes is definitely Waterlooplein Market 🫶 With a huge range of stalls and great prices for well-known brands, you’re bound to find something you like! For this time of year, jackets are plentiful 🧥✨ We’ve seen plenty of leather jackets and classic trench coats for around €30, but you never know what you’ll find at Waterlooplein 🙈 #amsterdamloc...

"I couldn't find the street level elevators which bothered me, as my mother has knee issues and all the escalators to street level were going up (which is not at all bad). A plain metro station, don't expect anything special."
