Visitors praise Huis Zypendaal for its tranquil park and beautiful gardens, offering a peaceful escape and excellent photo opportunities. While the house tour is brief, the historical insights and the natural beauty of the estate make it a worthwhile visit, especially during autumn.
"Zypendaal Estate has become a popular walking area bordering the city of Arnhem and seamlessly flowing into Sonsbeek City Park. The estate is home to the source of the St. Jansbeek stream. The hills of this wooded area are home to estates and Zypendaal's house. The area exudes an oasis of tranquility and beautiful winding paths."

"Bought my ticket for the tour online. There is a digital tour you can down load or a tour with a guide I chose the guided tour. Very interesting tour not only about the house but also Dutch history. There are quite a few of this type of homes in Holland some are open to the public. They are always worth a visit."

"We went here for a visit early autumn. They are only open Sundays and a reservation is required. We were welcomed in the cellar and our son received a kids puzzle tour book which he loved. We took the stairs up to the first floor and walked through the four open rooms. There was staff present to answer questions and share some interesting facts. Some staff members were more welcoming / friendly than others. It’s a shame the other floors of the house are off limits, there are offices there. This makes for a quick tour. We were in and out within 20-30 minutes. Luckily the tour continues through the surrounding park which looked beautiful in the nice autumn colors."
