"A truly beautiful church for a wedding ceremony. I've photographed several weddings there, and I think it's a wonderful church for that. Beautiful and well-maintained, with wonderful lighting inside. I'd love to return here as a wedding photographer. My website has a full wedding reportage taken here. If you're unsure about choosing a venue for your wedding ceremony, take a look.

"The Walloon Church is a typical medieval city chapel.
It is the only perfectly preserved Gothic chapel from the early 15th century.
This intimate church, like the Wendelinus Chapel, was built by order of Johanna van Polanen.
After the beguinage was moved, the chapel became the church of the beguines. Later, the church passed to the Walloon community.
The officers and cadets had their own pews here.
The father of the poet Jacques Perk
was a Walloon minister here from 1868 to 1872.
Today, the church is used for exhibitions, concerts, and receptions.
Adjacent to the Walloon Church is a collective grave of beguines (1267-1534).
In 1534, the beguinage was located directly adjacent to Breda Castle.
This courtyard had its own cemetery. During archaeological excavations of part of the old beguinage between 1994 and 1996, the remains of 111 Beguines and several other individuals were discovered.
On September 7, 2006, the remains of these individuals were interred in a crypt near the Walloon Church, where approximately 315 Beguines found their final resting place between 1535 and 1829.
Since 1830, the Beguines have been buried in their own cemetery at Zuylen Cemetery (154 women).
In July, June, and August, the church is open to the public on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM."
