"The only wheelchair accessible toilet close to the beach is in this mall, we went there and the door opened for me to go to the toilet. Upon leaving, some dapper looking manlet followed me bc I "forgot to pay". There's no way for people in wheelchairs to pay, people pay at the ports which clearly has a sign on it stating it's not for wheelchair users. I just wanted to get out of there so I went alright fine, I'll pay. This grown man gets all up in my boyfriend's (21y/o) face and treats us like garbage in general, trying to intimidate us by deliberately taking steps into our personal space. My bf is not someone to do something like that to, so while I was struggling, bent over trying to pay over the ports that are too narrow for my wheelchair to fit through, my bf and this bloke are nose to nose making a scene. I genuinely hope someone his prehistoric age learns to respect someone that has different needs."
