"Great place for a nice lunch, to end a hike in the dune forest, or just a place for the kids to play. One of the best for the latter; the central location and large play area makes it ideal for the outdoor parent, and there are great hikes for kids of all ages in the area.
Pros: Easy to get to, large parking nearby, good food, good service. Great spot for kids, with skelters, bikes, large play area all within the grounds.
Cons: on busy days it's REALLY busy, so expect a bit of a wait. Small patio means first come first served. Popular location."

"The food looked nice, and the service was fast- but in our party one apple-bacon pancake served was undercooked, and they'd forgotten the bacon. They took it back and cooked it a bit more, but not enough. Later in the evening I didn't feel so good after having had the salmon roll- the presentation was nice, but the flavours felt unbalanced. The waitress we had really tried to fix things, the mess up wasn't her fault and I really appreciated her. She's what makes my review 2 stars instead of 1. The flammkuchen were alright, but not the best."
