"I studied psychology at the University of Twente because of the NC in Germany. I got in quite quickly, without an admission process, and that’s already a red flag. The tuition fees are really high, and students are treated very poorly. The psychology program is really bad because in the end it’s still a technical university and not really designed for this field.As a first-year student, we had to go to campus every day and had a lot of mandatory attendance, sometimes in courses where it really wasn’t necessary. If you were more than 5 minutes late twice, you would get marked “Absent” and fail the course, even if you were only delayed, for example, due to the Deutsche Bahn.Having only two attempts per exam and not being able to choose when to take them is also a red flag. Many assignments and exams are really oddly designed: for example, one exam was written in such poor English that it was more Dutch than English. I also don’t understand the point of reading dozens of research papers just to repeat what the articles said. Yay, we learned how to skim and read.It was really tough to keep up with this pace for anyone. And if you fail because of personal reasons, the support offered is also terrible. The university psychologists are a joke, and if you get expelled for example, due to personal reasons and without another chance to redo the courses: you’ve just wasted your money on this university.Furthermore, the professors are really incompetent and not friendly at all. I once had a female professor and wondered how someone could be so evil and why she’s even a psychologist, because she was very manipulative and truly not a good person. Honestly, if you enroll there and this old hag is your professor, my condolences.I strongly recommend not studying there, especially not psychology. In the end, you’ll just be frustrated, have lost your money, and end up with a worthless trash degree that’s hardly useful in Germany. There are much better alternatives for studying psychology – especially if the NC is a problem for you. Take my advice: I would never have enrolled if I had known what kind of university this is."

"This has always been one of my dream universities ever since I was a little boy starting to learn about Netherlands. Unfortunately I have never had chance to secure an opportunity to advance my education here but i came here a year a go specifically to see my dream university.. I took as much photos as possible as souvenirs but on my way back I forgot my phone in the trein that hasn’t been found upto today and that’s how memories I had vanished a few hours after visiting the university. However i planned to travel again a year later with better gadgets and had an opportunity again to visit it with some of my friends doing phds here and can’t regret.. I got better photos and toured the campus more n better. But still the dream is still alive for for the next 10 yrs"
