"Giethoorn, Netherlands is truly a fairytale village! 🌿✨
Known as the Venice of the North, it’s a peaceful place filled with charming canals, thatched-roof houses, and beautiful gardens. The best way to explore is by renting a small boat and gliding through the quiet waterways surrounded by nature and lovely cottages. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing — perfect for a day away from the city. There are also cozy cafés and local shops where you can stop for a drink or snack while enjoying the view.
A must-visit destination if you love picturesque scenery and serene vibes 🚤💚"

"Giethoorn is an amazingly beautiful village that you will visit. It is so beautiful and you start wondering how can a tiny village with a thousand houses be so beautiful. It is so surreal. We went via getyourguide..the bus driver was also very knowledgeable who kept telling stories about amsterdam throughout the trip. Firs they took us on a boat and then we had two hours to walk. The walk was really very peaceful. Wish I had more time to walk. That is the only regret."

"Ultimate beauty. Venice of the Netherlands. Don't follow google route from parking as it is misleading. Better as locals where passage entrance is. Boat trip is kind of nonsense as they are all stuck in jams. Easier to walk and enjoy. Every corner is state of art. Extremely beautiful. Highly recommend."
