"The changing facilities at Kardinge are unsafe. While my partner was changing, she saw a man lying on the ground with his head under her cubicle, looking at her. Distressed, she called for me. By the time I came out, the man was trying to leave. I confronted him, but he claimed not to speak Dutch or English.
We reported the incident to reception, who escalated it to management. Shockingly, the receptionist knew the man’s name and admitted this had happened before with the same individual. They also stated that the previous complaint was not taken seriously because the victim was “fat.” This man reportedly does swimming lessons at the centre.
No formal apology, police involvement, or meaningful investigation was carried out by the Kardinge management team.
Please exercise caution if bringing your children here—management is not taking complaints of this nature seriously. I would have expected them to immediately contact the police and initiate a criminal investigation."
