What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors generally have a positive experience at Dolfinarium Harderwijk, with many finding it a fun day out for families, especially the children. The dolphin shows are consistently praised as impressive. While the park is well-organized and clean, some find the food to be a bit overpriced.
"We actually really enjoyed it!
We came with low expectations after reading some mixed reviews, but it turned out to be a fun day for the kids.
We were a family of 6 (ages 4 to 16) visiting on a rainy day. Most of the park is outdoors, so we did get quite wet, but the animal shows still took place, and they were enjoyable. By the afternoon, the sun came out, and we were able to enjoy the park even more.
The place is well-organized and clean, with plenty of seating areas and playgrounds for kids. There were also inflatables, and by the beach area we got to play in the sand and water once the rain stopped – it’s really a beautiful spot.
They had a nice bubble and snow foam area too, which the kids loved.
The animal shows are short but cute, and it’s great to see the animals up close and watch them interact. Of course, the highlight was the main dolphin show in the indoor auditorium – very impressive!
Tip: Buy your tickets online or through discount websites – it makes the visit much more affordable. Also, bring your own umbrella or rain poncho, because prices for those inside the park are very high."

"Park is smack in the middle of city center. It's much smaller than I remembered. Still a lovely vibe in the park. Loads of playgrounds for the kids. Dolphin show is absolutely amazing. Food is a bit overpriced for what is offered. When finished seeing the animals and playtime is over you can enjoy walking in town after."
Will Clement
"It is a good experience for a day at the weekend to spend here. I will not say this has the best aquatic ecosystem or animals here, but it is decent. The dolphin show is great among all the shows. The other shows are also decent. We had a good time here. You will find water slides here so it could be a good time to spend in hot summer. You have the beach access for bathing and other fun activities."
