"A peaceful natural area tucked away between the railway line and the A27 motorway. People are more likely to head to the nearby Goois Nature Reserve De Zuid, which is considerably larger.
But you can walk quite a distance here without encountering many people. It's a nice way to combine it with Laapersbos and Dassenveld, then cross over at Hollandse Rading (or earlier at the bicycle bridge) and return via Goois Nature Reserve De Zuid.
The area also features the former Hilversum on- and off-ramp to the A27. The contours are still clearly visible in satellite photos."
