Reviews Summary
Visitors are captivated by the Raadhuiskwartier's stunning Dudok architecture, praising its unique yellow bricks, geometric design, and the impressive tower views. The attention to detail in both exterior and interior is frequently highlighted. However, some community members express concerns about traffic safety at specific crossings, urging for improvements.
"Love the exterior of this building by the architect Dudok, but the interiors are absolutely stunning. The attention to detail is incredible everywhere you look.
It is well worth taking the guided tour (1.30pm Thursday to Sunday) as this gives you a good look round with a knowledgeable guide (we got a guide booklet in English as the tour is in Dutch) and the opportunity to go climb to the top of the tower (over 200 steps). The view from the top is amazing, especially with the autumnal colour at the end of October."

"A magnificient building in Hilversum, the Netherlands, by Willem Marinus Dudok built in 1927-1931. It consists of rectangular prisms stacked together. A belltower of 48 meters plays optimistic tunes once in a while. Walking around the building makes you happy. The building radiates pureness, beauty, logic and purposefullnes. When you have the opportunity go there and experience its personality."
