The personnel working here was very kind (that is how I know people in the Netherlands!) and I was really astonished that we were offered a reduced entrance fee, because we were foreigners. The lady told us that this is because not all of the exhibition was explained in English and/or German (Dutch only), but I can read Dutch (a bit). Anyway, usually around the globe tourists rather get ripped off, so I will probably remember for a very long time that here at Fort 1881 we had to pay less as foreigners. This is the way forward!"
