Reviews Summary
The Houtribsluizen are a functional landmark on the dike, offering impressive views of maritime traffic and engineering. However, visitors frequently report significant and frustrating traffic delays due to frequent bridge openings, especially during rush hour, which detracts from the experience for motorists.
"Nice"
Darius B
"Opening the bridge at the most inconvenient times, during rush hour (often for just one boat), leads to massive traffic jams and, afterward, incredibly dangerous traffic situations as everyone tries to overtake the line of trucks.
In short, please do not open the bridge during rush hour (7:00 AM - 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM)! You are partly responsible for the many accidents that occur on the dike."

"Bridge over lock is often open"
