What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find Fort Willem I to be a great green and funny area, particularly for children, with a nice playground and ample space for picnics. While the modest entrance fee is appreciated, some note the importance of clarifying ticket and parking arrangements. The historical aspect is present, though the primary draw for many is the recreational value for families.
"Nice playground with lot of option from paddle to swings. Good access to basic toilets, even without lights. Entrance fee is modest, however, ask the ticket otherwise it goes in the pocket and you might not be allowed to return from the parking if staff changes during that time."
Kinga Mészáros
"Not bad! There are plenty of things for children to play and have a good time. The entrance is 2 € per person and there is a parking outside the playground. There are normally 2 swimming pools for children; one for older than 4 years old but there was no water today! And one for less than 4 years old! But since there was no water in the former, lots of children used the little one without respecting each other! There were boys who were pulling down their swimming suits and showing their butts to each other! Parents should be more careful about their children 's behaviors!!!"
