"On a beautiful and warm day in June, we traveled to the Duindamseslag near Noordwijk aan Zee. We arrived at a small parking lot, which was a bonus because a visitor was just leaving and we were able to park the car (for free). The parking lot is quite small (70 cars), so arrive early! From the parking lot, turn right onto a paved path and follow it until you see the beach pavilion "De Zeespiegel." Here you can relax for a cup of coffee, ice cream, lunch, or dinner (the kitchen is open until 7:30 PM on Sundays). The prices are mid-range to high. The quality is excellent, and the portions are generous. Near this pavilion, there are spaces for guests in the so-called windbreak shelters, and thanks to the paved path, you can also get close to the sea with a mobility scooter or wheelchair. A big plus for those with physical disabilities! The beach is wide, spacious, and well-organized. There's also plenty of play equipment for children.
