What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Soestdijk Station is appreciated for its well-maintained, charming building and convenient location next to the shopping street. Visitors enjoy the café and the proximity to Soestdijk Palace. However, the infrequent train service and potential for cancellations are significant drawbacks, leading to frustration with the rail operator.
"A very well-maintained small stop with a café in the reception building. Direct access to the shopping street"

"It's a beautiful station in itself. Kudos to ProRail. It's just a shame there aren't enough trains running. Because there are so few trains, you're immediately seriously delayed if a train is cancelled. Transfers at the relevant adjacent stations are also very unfavorable. All the negative points relate to NS (Dutch Railways). It baffles me why this organization still has a monopoly on the rail network."
Peter Vlugt
"The Queen should be able to take the train from Baarn to Utrecht. Oh yeah, we'll throw Soest in there too.
If you want to go to Amersfoort, I'm afraid you'll have to rely on the Syntus. Good luck.
The woman at the call box is very sweet, so if you're waiting there alone, you can always talk to her."
