"It's located not far from train station. Walkable distance.
From outside I can never guessed what is this building or what it looks like inside.
It's a Library in old warehouse/space from the train company so it's cool inside. Very high ceilings and beautiful.
There is small cafe to chilled, nice drink and small eat. It's good place to sit, not expensive.
There are 3-4 floors , has big space for event, meetings to hold.
It's library with many seating area, also has individual small room if you need to concentrate on reading, studying.
For books, I think mostly they're dutch books. But I think there are also English books too.
I'm not sure about how to lend the books here but I guess you have to be member (with fee) but if you just want to chilled, walk around or read any books there, it's free. Also have computers and wifi that you can use for free too.
I see many students there , studying, make sense for Tilburg university nearby.
One corner is kind of small museum of this historical building , cool things.
Also free toilet to use.
It's a library so supposed to be quiet place buy not always, when we were there , there are dance events 💃🕺"

"LocHal (Locomotive Hall) is a modern center of culture and art located in the locomotive shed building from 1932 with a preserved raw steel structure. LocHal houses the main library of the city of Tilburg with a reading room, laboratory, computer and exhibition rooms and cafes. Of course, you will find traditional shelves, reading areas, work tables, quiet zones and good coffee. An impressive place where work and relaxation create harmony."
