"Klompenpad Uddelermeer walked. Is standard 15 km. Can be extended to 16 or shortened to approx. 10 km. We did the 10 km and it was a very varied landscape. Forest, fields, meadows with cows or horses. Also nice that you can really walk through the fields. Along the cornfields, corn, lilies, conifers. All sorts. Few benches along the way. When you have finally sat on the bench at the oak and see camping Meerveld in the distance, you should keep to it. There are few signs on that part. (Depending on how you walk the route. If you are already coming from the direction of the campsite, the signs may be clear) Had a nice meal at Buitenplaats het Loo. (= start and end point)"

"Beautiful lake. The Uddelermeer lake appears to be a historical relic from the Ice Age. At that time, it was an ice hill (an underground mass of ice pushing up the ground, a "pingo"), which collapsed into a lake after melting. There's also a medieval ring fortification next to it. Interesting information signs surround the lake. A pleasant walk (Klompenpad) begins here, passing through fields, woods, heathland, and Uddel (with a shortened and extended route). The walk involves some climbing over shelters, hiking through fields, and occasionally walking past animals. Parking is available nearby, and there's an excellent restaurant across the street."
