Utrecht’s Dafne Schippers Bridge integrates a bridge with a school and a park: An elementary school acts as the on-ramp to a bike and pedestrian crossing of the Rijn Canal, complete with cycle path on the roof!
They installed some heaters about a year after the opening, in the surface, because in cold weather it would get too slippery, and people would fall. Apparently especially that tight corner on top of the roof made quite a lot of people fall.
