The Netherlands is very flat. The entire country is known for its low-lying terrain, with about 26% of it below sea level. The highest point in continental Netherlands, the Vaalserberg, is only 322 meters (1,058 feet) high — that’s barely a hill in many countries! #netherlands #flatcountry #facts #mountains #nature

Reviews Summary

Visitors find Vaalserberg a unique and worthwhile stop, primarily for the novelty of the Three-Country Point and the views from the Wilhelmina Tower. While some note it's not a 'mountain' in the traditional sense, its accessibility and the fun activities like the maze make it a popular destination, especially for families. Parking and public transport are generally convenient.

"Being the highest mountain of the Netherlands at just 322 meters as well as the 3 country point it certainly is worth visiting. Near areas are kid friendly and there is also a 50 meter lookout tower. There is plenty of parking space right next to the peak as well as little bit further. I also recommend visiting the labyrinth. In case of public transport the connectivity is good and you should not have problems with that."

Tobias Tatar (Tobkobobko)

"The Vaalserberg is also the location of the tripoint between Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands and so its summit is called the Drielandenpunt ("three country point") in Dutch, Dreiländereck ("three country corner") in German and Trois Frontières ("three borders") or Trois Bornes ("three border stones") in French.

It's the highest point in the Netherlands located in the province of Limburg, near the town of Vaals. It reaches a height of 322.5 meters (1,058 feet) above sea level."

"Can't say anything special about the highest peak of Holland. We visited in March so it wasn't crowded. There is a big paid parking lot nearby and some restaurants with a souvenir shop."
