"What a wonderful place! Okay honestly I’ve always been a train enthusiast, so as soon as there’s rail I’m interested. However! Taking that into account. This place is wonderful. It’s big enough and they have a couple of really nice pieces. It really does breath the train atmosphere. As the conductor said: we’re a park for kids of all ages. And indeed they are. It’s cosy, it’s fun and they have steam trains. All aboard!"

"Today after work, closer to home, again a bit back in time, this time the narrow gauge is +/- 70 centimeters wide and is half the width of the track in the Netherlands. I understood from a stoker that stoking and preparing these narrow-gauge trains takes about 3 hours before they start running. It is heated with coal, which heats water into steam. The driving speed is approximately 15 kilometers per hour. It was nice to visit this museum on this beautiful day. The staff (volunteers) were nice and helpful and I didn't feel bothered to ask questions."
