What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Ganzenhoek is praised as a beautiful natural escape with a lovely mix of forest and dunes, offering a peaceful retreat close to The Hague. Visitors appreciate the diverse ecology and tranquil lake, though some note the parking can be pricey and crowded on busy days.
"Sand under your feet in a forest! Birds chirping, trees rustling in a mild breeze, a beautiful lake in the warm sunset light. To be enjoyed alone or in company. There are many walking trails to try out, or you may simply ride your bike through the area (it's quite small, I recommend walking). I took it slow together with a good buddy, and we ended up crisscrossing the reserve mostly on foot. Place has great energy. And its located only 30min by bike outside the Hague! A true escape from city hustle and bustle. Warmly recommend."
