"Visited Zaanse Schans today and absolutely loved the experience! The place feels like stepping into a living postcard — traditional windmills, charming wooden houses, and stunning views everywhere. The area is very well-maintained and perfect for a relaxed walk, photography, and learning about Dutch culture and craftsmanship.

There are nice small museums, cheese shops, and demonstrations that make the visit even more enjoyable. It’s easily reachable from Amsterdam and a great half-day trip.

Highly recommend visiting if you want to experience the classic Dutch countryside vibe! 🌿🌬️🇳🇱"

Bhumendra Bisen

"As a free tourist attraction, Zaanse Schans is very good place to explore. There is ticket only if you want to go inside the windmill. Apart from this, there is Clog making demo, Dutch cheese tasting, exploring the iconic windmills and photo opportunities to capture the overall Dutch ambience. I really enjoyed the clog demo how using pre-set machines clogs were made. Windmills were fun too. Overall a good place to spend half day."

Nirav Parikh

"visit to Zaanse Schans felt like stepping into a living postcard—where time slows, windmills whisper old Dutch secrets, and wooden houses wear their history like proud badges. 🌿

The air carried a sweet scent of cocoa and freshly baked waffles, while the quiet creak of spinning windmills added a rustic charm. Walking along the water, I could see craftsmen shaping clogs, cheese makers offering warm smiles (and irresistible samples!), and green wooden houses reflecting gracefully on calm canals."
