What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The Banks Track is overwhelmingly praised for its stunning coastal scenery, exceptional hut accommodations, and unique wildlife encounters. Visitors rave about the well-maintained trails and the warm hospitality. The only minor drawback mentioned is the desire to stay longer, particularly at the beautiful Stony Bay.
"The Watagan Wanderers had the best 3 days on the track. The weather was perfect sunny days, the hut accomodation was fantastic and the track was very well maintained. We did the penguin and kayak tours at Flea Bay which was also so much fun. Stony Bay was a delight and the farmers shop was an added bonus with great produce for our last day. The only sad thing about the trip is that we would have loved to have stayed at Stony bay for a second night. All in all a great adventure."

"A brilliant few days was thoroughly enjoyed by our group. I heartily recommend this walk with absolutely amazing views"
Stephen Booth
"This track is absolutely amazing. All accommodation is wonderful and Stoneybay on the last day is my Number one place in the world. I could of stayed for days, it is just so beautiful. The shop was stocked with such high quality goods. Bags taken from hut to hut is superb. Little blue penguins at both bays are adorable. This truly is three days of joy, an absolute must if you love hiking, incredible views and the most well equipped accomodation. We had the private room option and it was excellent. Thank you to all the landowners."
