"This Homestead that has been lovingly restored is set on beautiful surrounding grounds, with the adjacent old Railway station (moved from the gorge) where you can enjoy tea/coffee with cream and scones ladies you lovely volunteers thankyou for your help and being so friendly. Anyway the Homestead which was originally built in 1879 but as you will see how each room has been restored containing items which would have been relevant to this Homestead at the time. I found it amazing to see the photos of the restoration. It has an amazing feel to the house and each room is very uniquely designed. The grounds are relaxing lush with trees. I would highly recommend coming to visit this. I just wish I had bought the book my simple life in New Zealand that was there!"
