"100% worth climbing to the top of Mt Clyde for the views! Such a nice walk, and only 20 minutes drive from Masterton. Safe parking and a toilet."

"My Father Roy Manion was farm manager on Rewanui for many years, I spent my first 16 years working and growing up there, still has a special place in my memories. The Blailogie pub burnt down when we were still there, it was on the Castlepoint Riversdale junction. I went to the Awatoitoi primary school, must go back for a look see, have a couple of photos from its day if anyone is interested"

"We did the Blue walk, it was quite an up hill climb to start, which is quite difficult if like me you’ve not exercised much working from home the last two years 😂 but it’s worth it. The toilet at the start was clean and flushable and didn’t smell, perfect if you forgot to go before leaving home! (Tissue is supplied) the views at the top are spectacular, we were the only people on the walk. You could see the ocean and the ranges all the way down to the south coast. Take water and a picnic/ food and enjoy the views at the very top, before walking down. If it’s been raining take some gum boots to change into at the bottom of the hill as it’s VERY muddy ! Can’t wait to explore more"
