What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Tūranga Central Library as an exceptional, modern facility that goes beyond traditional library services. Its innovative design, vibrant atmosphere, and diverse offerings, including maker spaces and an outstanding children's area, make it a standout attraction. While not a silent sanctuary, its lively community feel is a significant part of its charm.
"Incredible space, designed incredibly well... dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge and all things attached to that. The library has four floors, several alcoves, nooks, crannies, books, creative spaces, viewing decks and absolutely anything else you could think you would do on a rainy day... including Lego, film making, sewing and let's just a restaurant in the lobby that had won best cheese scone previously (as claimed by the trolley operator)... however.. even as a tourist this space is spectacular and worthy of a visit.
Two thumbs up all the way!!"
