"We originally visited because we had heard about being able to see kiwi. We did the whole red light torches and spent some time waiting but sadly it mustn't have been the right time. However we visited during the daytime too and really enjoyed walking around this track as there were some massive Kauri trees. It was also interesting and sad to see the devastating affect of Kauri die back as there were many dead Kauri."
