Martinborough in winter ?
Kia Ora , I’m looking to book an Airbnb for my birthday in Martinborough but considering it is early June I am unsure if Martinborough will still be worth visiting. Are the wine tours still operating at this time, relative to Wellington how is the Martinborough winter ?

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Guests consistently praise the Martinborough Hotel for its beautiful Victorian charm, exceptional staff, and prime location. The Union Square restaurant is a highlight for its delicious food and wine. While the vintage character is a major draw, some classic features might require careful navigation for those with mobility concerns.
"Martinborough Hotel is an amazing place to stay. The Hotel is beautiful and comfortable, with lovely touches such as the welcoming library, which has old world charm. We stayed in a garden suite, which we absolutely loved. It was large and well appointed. The real gem is the staff in the Union Square restaurant and the hotel, they are fantastic. They all seem to have the ability to make all the guests feel that they are valued. Wonderful place to stay for a relaxing peaceful holiday."

"Vintage comfort. This is a classic old hotel. Radiators still work and not a single straight polished floorboard in the room. Doors open out onto a big second floor veranda where you can look out over the goings of the town square. It literally feels like going back in time only the bed is much more comfortable.
The Classic claw-foot bath with shower over might not be well suited for any with mobility issues but it suited the ambience of the room.
Comfortable bed and pillows.
The Union Square Bistro below made it a perfect over-night or weekend option
I will definitely be back to sample more of the local Pinot Noir."
