"Stayed here for a rest day while walking the Queen Charlotte Track, and had a wonderful, recuperative experience.
I was lucky enough to be one of only a couple of guests, as the lodge had only opened for the season a week earlier. This meant I got focused, VIP treatment from all the staff. They really went above and beyond, from ordering in vegan ice cream for me to giving me a private tour of the underwater observatory.
I loved every moment at Lochmara, especially the bath house -- which was perfect for my hike-tired muscles"
