"This is a small, beautiful, white sand beach about 20 minute drive from downtown Dunedin. It has a gorgeous view, big waves, arc beach when viewed from the viewpoint
Parking is easy, the walk down to the beach is a steep sand trail. I spent about 10 minutes going down and 15 minutes back. We came here on a winter afternoon in July. Lucky to see three sea lions, but did not see the penguins. The area has no toilets or rubbish bins."

"We went down to the beach in the hopes of spotting Penguins and eded up getting a glimpse of two seals mating. Bring a jumper as it’s really windy and remember to remain at a safe distance from the animals to avoid bothering them or being attacked by them."
