Advice for road trip around east cape (camping)
Planning to spend 4 nights 5 days camping in the east cape area. Planning to drive from Wellington and stay in Mahia the first night then head up the cape. Possible options are tologa bay, tokumaru bay and hicks bay. Does anyone have any advice? Eg favourite places, bestβ¦

Coming home for Chrissy, anything to see/do on this route or do we just head straight from Opotiki to Gisborne?
Between Tokomaru and Tologa is a place called Anaura Bay, poorly signposted but a gem. Take a fishing rod with you around the cape as well. Roads tend to be shit because of the number of logging trucks on them in places. Take a pic @ Te Puia Springs of KFC, report back to us !
Abandoned places near or around Hastings & Napier
After the old nursing home got knocked down on Hospital Hill I havenβt been able to find that many urbex locations, already explored the Waipukurau hospital. Any places or help would be appreciated.
