"The Museum of Waiheke is a great place to visit to learn more about the history of Waiheke. There are many fascinating items to see from farm equipment to maritime objects as well as cottages that house entire rooms of items designed to display how people lived in different eras.
It is easily accessible by bus, and there is also space for cars to park.
Bathrooms are available on-site."

Jasmine Hooper

"Interesting little town museum. It is more of a collection of buildings that make up the museum. Main building plus a few other buildings, each showing a specific theme or feature of life in the area during a period of time.

It is a grass and dirt walk between buildings so be careful if it is raining. It was a bit muddy when I visited. However there is some beautiful scenery nearby, so it blends in well.

The comments are fit for all ages, so being your kids and take a visit. Admittance is a donation (suggested at $3)."

Matt Hutchings

"A museum filled with memorabilia from the past. It was cool to see the different cottages, too- quite creepy seeing the mannequins but cool set up and displays, nonetheless. I rated it OK because I was quite unsure what the purpose was behind this museum. It was a bit too random for me."
