"It's a perfect place for picnic, a spacious ground and has the land and sand area to put up your tent or your mat. During low tide, there's a lot of thriving creatures revealed on the rocky environment. There's a spot for fishing as well. Parking space provided with toilet, showers and changing rooms. There's a nearby restaurant as well. And from here you can also view the Pencarrow lighthouse."

It is a nice bay that is more often sheltered from the northerlies that batter the rest of the town.
Cold water swimming here in non-summer is a must if you enjoy that sort of thing.
