Can anyone give the low-down on everything about Raglan NZ. Any insights on accommodation the area and the wave itself.. Cheers.
It gets fucking busy when its good. It gets fucking busy when its bad. It's generally fucking busy. Even the beachbreak is busy, unless its absolutely shit, then it is just mildly crowded. If you don't like crowds don't turn up on weekends or holidays. Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursdayβ¦

"Had a lovely stroll along Whale Beach where we found a little monument place with a bunch of photos of a dog named 'Lailucci'. I took a photo of this sad and sweet monument and when I came back home, all of a sudden I realized that this could be the same dog I met 4 years ago when I visited the beach for the first time, and I even took a photo of the dog and his(her) owner! Could be a lovely memory with this cute creature."

"Where the maps tooks us, there's parking at the top of a hill then there toilets available with a swing set even though can't see this on the maps as this doesn't seem exactly at the right spot on the bay. No picnicking and trespassing sign along the rocks at one point but saw more than a few surfers go down that way with their boards. More than half of this area is more large rounded rocks than a beach."
