"This was a really nice nature area. There are great views of the lake and islands. We saw some wildlife as well as beautiful forests. Be aware that it closes at 3 and you have to take the shuttle up the hill if you arrive after 10. The cost was very high for Nicaragua. The shuttle is $22. The cost to hike varies from $3-6 depending on the trail you pick. Also, you have to pay for a guide on all but the shortest trail."

"Great hiking area. Highly recommend the Puma trail (moderate difficulty). You'll need a guide and transport up the volcano but both were well worth it."
