When I consider the structure and the condition and number of the animals there, I'll give this rating a 1.
I have been to the wildlife park a couple of times in the past many years ago. So, I looked forward to this one, not because I was expecting to see something spectacularly different from what I had seen before there (also thanks to more current reviews I had read also). But because going there leaves me with a certain experience that is sometimes difficult for me to articulate in words.
There is something about the aura there. People who have visited will understand what I am saying. There is this pervading and overwhelming calmness, serenity, and peace I feel there. When I gave myself a time limit of spending 2 hrs there, I didn't realize I'd end up spending 4 hrs.
I got to see some animals again and take fresh pictures. I fed the elephant some chinchin, and she seemed to like the snack.
Getting to the wildlife park was pretty easy.
The entry fee is 200 naira, which I found to be exciting 😀 and surprising at the same time.
It is good to know that the present government is making concerted efforts to revamp the place. I hear the park has already been fenced all through, which I found to be impressive."
