What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find the Art Nouveau Center a fascinating and well-organized museum, particularly appreciating the detailed exhibits on Art Nouveau design and the compelling narrative of the 1904 fire and city reconstruction. The friendly staff and multilingual information enhance the experience, making it a worthwhile visit even on a rainy day.
"Fascinating place well worth the fee
I eneter3d through the art exhibition and was confused but found my way to the Art Nouveau furniture after a while.
I loved all of it. Do not miss this gem .
There is asoi a cafe, but I didn't get a chance to try that"
Sabrina Fair
"Small, but very nicely organized museum, in a historic building with interesting collection of Art Nouveau objects and temporary exhibitions. My favorite were all of the interactive experiences, telling visually with the old photos and videos and narrated by currently lived people the story of the fire in 1904, what it meant for the country and how the town was rebuild. Another interesting narrated experience is about the Art Nouveau in general, what did it mean for Europe, why it happened and how it effected social structures of the society. It was the only thing which works on Sunday, plus it’s a nice place to spend couple of hours in a rainy day."

"Small but beautiful exhibits. Interesting information in Norwegian, English and German. Friendly staff."
