Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the Astrup Fearnley Museum for its stunning Renzo Piano architecture and prime waterfront location, offering beautiful views. The international contemporary art collection is generally well-regarded, though individual tastes may vary. Some find certain exhibits less inspiring, but the overall experience is often described as worthwhile, especially with the Oslo Pass.

"A fun art gallery with a stationary exhibition and a changing one in the more interesting looking building. Fun architecture and clean interior. It can be a bit empty certain parts I think, but worth the visit. Been here many times and usually great art!"

The Loka Boka

"An architectural beautiful building with a small swimspot/beach and bridge in the middle, next to the harbor in Oslo.
We found the art not our cup of tea, with the exception of J. Koons porcelain statue of Michael Jackson and the unicorn by “I don’t know anymore”.
But others might feel differently about the shown pieces."

Ruud Smit

"A private museum in Oslo which was founded by Hans Rasmus Astrup. If you are in to contemporary art do not miss Astrup Fearnley Museum. We had chance to view amazing contemporary art pieces. One part was not open for visit wish we could have seen more. Next time for sure. We also stop by the museum shop and both art books. Museum is located in a super cool place to walk around and not miss stop by the coffee shop which has a vintage Targa in it."
