"An unexpected gem inside when the outside looks rather cold, uninspiring and somewhat brutal. (Apart from the tower) . Inside its simple but beautifully decorated. The ceiling gives the impression of being in the upside down Hull of ship. It was truly wonderful. A couple of points of note, Entry is free, and there are also toilets inside."

"This Cathedral is quite surprising for a relatively small town like Bodo. It is well worth visiting, with a modernist appearance outside and a more traditional one inside. Outside the there is an external bell tower which I think is a war memorial for Norwegians in WW2.
Inside the cathedral the atmosphere is very peaceful, and the organ was playing when we visited. There is a lovely stained glass window above the altar, and the cover over the font seems to be covered in reindeer hide!
There is no charge for visiting the building, and there are also toilets if you need them."
