"Absolutely breathtaking! My mother had been there many years ago, and I visited for the first time, and we were both stunned at how beautiful the gardens were and how put together the whole experience was!
When we arrived at the island we were met by very friendly and efficient staff pointing us in the right direction, and our guide Olav was simply amazing! His passion and enthusiasm shone through the entire way, and you can tell he’s built this place with so much love and care! He was super informative and very funny, and I loved following him around and hear the story of how the place came to be.
When the tour was over we were led into the “jungle restaurant”, were the staff was nothing short of amazing! The food was excellent and the drinks were great! Also major plus that the bathrooms (as well as the entire rest of the place I believe) were wheelchair accessible with a lowered sink, soap dispenser and mirror.
After dinner we had time to walk through the garden at our own pace, buy more drinks from the beach bar and visit the souvenir shop.
The entire place was amazing from start to finish, and the staff really made us feel welcome! The owners have done an amazing job at hiring the right people for the place and making it the experience it is!
Though the price can seem a bit steep it is 100% worth the money, and you’ll be blowed away by the beauty of this place. We’ll definitely be back in the future. If you’re in Stavanger this is a must!"
