Positives - The train itself was comfortable, Wi-Fi functioned well, and the staff was very good.
Negatives - The "stunning" mountain views on the right side of the train were anything but stunning; trees and tunnels obscured most vistas. The fjord views on the left side of the train were good in spots, but again often obscured by tunnels, trees, and power lines. The photo stops on the ride up to the top were crowded, and we were rushed back onto the train at each one. Even the destination at the top lasted only 10 min and offered little. If you want a truly beautiful train ride, go to Flåm and don't waste your time on this one."
