"Having already come down the fjord on a cruise ship I debated about doing this RIB tour but it was absolutely worth it.
The boat takes you up very close to a series of waterfalls and the pilot gives a brilliant explanation of the history of the area.
They dress you in full protective gear with inflatable life jacket, so you won’t get cold, or be in any danger.
Great fun, and a great way to see Geiranger up close."

"The boat trip was disappointing. It wasn’t as fast or thrilling as expected, no water splashes at all, even though we were in full gear. The experience felt more like a taxi service, lasting only 50 minutes instead of a full hour, with about 15 minutes spent dropping off and picking up hikers. We also didn’t get very close to the waterfalls, which was a letdown. Another thing to note: the cabin didn’t have any lockers or storage for personal items."
