Hei ! I'm going to be visiting for the month of June, staying in St. Hanshaugen near St. Hanshaugen Park. First time in Norway! I've heard Oslo is pretty safe but want to confirm this area is good for a single woman. Takk!
I live in that area, perfectly safe neighborhood. Friend of mine lives alone just the other side of the park from me and she's never mentioned having any issue.

Neighborhoods in Oslo
We are spending 3 nights in Oslo on our honeymoon. I’d like to learn about each neighborhood before I book a hotel. We are 34 and would enjoy being in a lively area with late night bars and possibly late night food or street food. Thank you for your suggestions!
🌅 Chase the Sunset
The view from the top of the hill is legendary at sunset. Arrive early to snag a good spot!
🍦 Treat Yourself
Don't miss the famous soft-serve ice cream from Gutta på Haugen next to the park.
St Hanshaugen
Not lived there. It's in a nice area though, and SiO apartments are in general of an ok standard. They're doing some renovation work on the building at the moment
