What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Strandafjellet offers stunning fjord and mountain views, particularly from the gondola, and is praised for its excellent powder snow conditions for skiing and snowboarding. However, some visitors find the pricing for day passes to be high, and weather can significantly impact visibility, leading to disappointing experiences.
"Took the cable car to the top but it was a cloudy and wet afternoon. Visibility wasn't great at the start and within an hour there was nothing to see, so it was very disappointing.
Views were ok to see briefly but photos just look uninteresting and grey. Mostly because that's what it looked like.
Had waffles and coffee in the cafe which were ok. Neither were that hot.
Would I do it again? No. As I think it was pretty expensive for such a short ride, a few photos and a waffle and coffee.
Came down early as the view was pointless"

"It was really nice skiing here. Ski rental was also really good (good equipment). You can rent ski's, shoes ans helmet but not glasses."
Jeroen Van Dijk
"Stunning views from the top after taking the gondola up. Well worth a visit.
Had to deduct points as the gluten free food options were unclear and my wife was left hungry."
