The fishing museum's vintage motors and the scenic ocean views from the cafe also receive high marks. Some note that the entrance can be hard to find and recommend checking winter opening hours.
"Very nice and humorous Blacksmith, loved to see him work and explain his steps to making this beautiful art. Though, we were there in the winter, when the museum wasn't open, and the entrance was hard to find, so just a heads up to that . But in total, we loved the experience and a the nice conversations we had with him. Also very beautiful art that's for sale."

"We had been recommended to visit the Smed in Sund by family and friends, so we took the trip.
We had a nice time there. The museum is located in a small area close to the sea. Very nice view.
It was facinating to see the blachsmith in action. He was super friendly and made nice birds that he has specialiced himself in making. Also the rest of the fishingmuseum was nice to see.
There was a cosy cafe by the museum where we bought Coffee and a bun. Which was nice to sit outside looking at the Oceanview.
On the opposite side of the museum there was a small jurely store.
The price was 100nok per person.
I absolutely can recommend to stop by Smed in Sund."

"I can highly recommend a visit to "Smeden i Sund" (the blacksmith in Sund). Here you can see a blacksmith in action and also see an exhibition of old boatmotors and fishing equipment. Some of the motors were running when we were there! The blacksmith is very friendly and builds sculptures that you can buy (unique and awesome for decoration). I really enjoyed this visit, it was so much fun to see an old art in action and also to listen to the nostalgic sounds from old motors! I'll definetly recommend this to my friends"
