Reviews Summary

Visitors praise Tromsø Public Library for its impressive modern architecture and the stunning harbor views from its upper floors. It's a welcoming space for all, offering free Wi-Fi, quiet study areas, and a vibrant children's section, making it a versatile spot for locals and tourists alike.

"Impressive architecture for a public library. It is open long hours and provides a nice place to sit and read.
There are impressive views of the harbor and sea from the top floor. It is just worth it to go inside for the views.
There is a toilet available too."

Simon Round

"This is seemingly the hot spot in town for families on weekends. The place was packed on Saturday - primarily with young families who were doing all kinds of kid activities in the downstairs area of the library. The first and second floors had lots of young people on their computers and the 3rd floor which is a "quiet zone" is worth visiting for the views of the town. I wouldn't say this is a must-visit but if you have time, it is worthwhile - and a good place to rest and get out of the weather if it is inclement."

Irma Zandl

"A very nice library for both kids and adults. It is a 5 storey building with a lot of books and spaces were you can hangout whether to read a book, do some work or even just have conversations. Theres a lot of books to choose from and the glass walls make the place welcoming with a lot of natural light."
