What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Al Ayn Beehive Tombs as an amazing, off-the-beaten-path historical site with a magical atmosphere, especially at sunset. The unique beehive structures and serene environment are highlights, offering a sense of solitude and connection to ancient history. However, navigation can be tricky, and a 4WD vehicle is often necessary for full access.
"Amazing site that is off the beaten path. First though, do follow Google maps with care, it leads you on a route that supposedly crosses the river but the actual road is now broken right after a turn.
Instead you will need to find a path down to the dry river bed and try to sight the entrance to the site and follow it. 4WD only, if you are in a sedan, just park at the road side and walk. The car can at maximum reach to the base of the hill and you will still need to walk up.
The beehive tombs are an amazing sight with a number of them in a row making it all the more imposing ( you can see them in a distance) as they are atop a hill."

"Magical place. I have skipped Bat and went only to this place and felt like it was enough. It's nice to experience this place around sunset, because the materials are changing colours.
Good half an hour out of one and half I was there completely alone on summer afternoon."
