Some. Of the houses are fully restored so you can look into ancient way of living in this unique village. Houses are attached to each other and creating streets and also have way of crossing village by the roof

"Really great attraction definitely worth seeing, very few tourists and very underrated. Fascinating collection of ancient ruins with about half tastefuly renovated. Could spend hours here looking through all the intresting passageways, tiny staircases, mosques,towers etc. Old mosques particularly intresting. A security guard may greet you amd give you some info and charge some small nominal fee when you enter. I really recommend visiting here more than anywhere in Central nizwa."
